Happy new month friends,
Did you know that the subtitle prompt for Medium is 'Tell your story’ that's what I will be doing today. Tell a fraction of the evolving whole.
I realized, just right now, that I've been writing for the world but not myself. I used to write for myself a lot.

Story Story
I was watching this video of the sister of someone I'm in love with. Because of that video, I opened my laptop at 25% to...write.
Have you ever seen yourself in a person?
Everything was right about that video. The song, the colour, the pace, the flowers, the emotions.
In 2020 all I wanted to do was be a photographer and fiction writer, a storyteller in and out, by words or by images.
I wanted to feel things, hear sounds, see places, love people and share all that like thunder bolts wrapped in wool.
In that video, I watched her twirl, laugh and embrace the environment. It made me realize that sometimes I want to escape this rectangle I am building for myself. This life of activities and responsibilities.
So I don’t end up repeating everything I’ve already written, if you’re interested in reading the full story, it’s on Medium. Click here to read it.
👩🏽💻Work Update
It’s been a consistent battle against anxiety and doubt. It’s easy to doubt your abilities no matter how long you prepare or how good people say you are.
I know I can’t continue like this! Creating work systems would help.
It’s Q4, 2023 will be over soon and I have to make important decisions. Once again, I feel a strong nudge that 2024 will exceed my plans and expectations, like I’ll just let it unfold.
In 2024, one thing I really want to do is just glide through it, like those birds that just follow the wind skilfully with wisdom.
🥑 October
I have a new water bottle that’s so cute it makes me drink water and yeah, water bottles make me happy.
I’ve really been craving taking a spontaneous trip to Uyo, just to breathe and feel new.
I have already prepared what I’ll like to focus on this month:
- Creating a solid system for work and equally making time to learn and take my courses
- Reading my Bible and participating in the community I serve at.
Thank you for reading!
